Summer Reading Program

All Programs will be held on the front lawn of the Library:

July 7:  Register and pick up Reading Club Packet, the first 15 families will receive “Movie Night Kit” with popcorn and other treats and a DVD with Animal Theme to preview for the Library collection. Get your books in the Library.

July 14:  “Animal Scavenger Hunt” Use animal trivia clue cards to located stuffed animal friends! Bring your Reading Log to check in. Return the DVD. Receive a prize and pick up a Take and Make Craft Packet for home. Return books, get new books.

July 21 : “Fun with Frogs and Toads”, Learn about these animal cousins with Environmental Educator Pam Golben. Bring your Reading Log to check in. Receive a prize and pick up a Take and Make Craft Packet for home. Return books, get new books.

July 28: “Create a Critter”. Bring Reading Log to check in. Receive a prize and completion Certificate.

Bring a stuffed animal from home to hear some stories! Younger readers who read 10 or more picture books, older readers who read 3 or more chapter books will receive a “Stuffable Animal Kit” to take home! Return any library books!

Some Materials are provided by Ramapo Catskill Library System and NYS.

Special Library hours will be open during the Summer Reading Programs.
